Seen on FM-Style: Colors of the season

I love tasks related to stylings in only one colour. I think it looks gorgeous but at the same time it's a little plain, so I never use it on my outfits. That's why I like using the idea on tasks for FM-Style. I've done it several times on different cycles and I felt like it was time for doing it again.

I looked at my Vogue Collections of Fall/Autumn 2014-15 and I saw that there were 6 colors that some designers used as monochromatic: white, black, red, cobalt blue, orange and forest green. This was for task 5, where only 5 contestants were still competing. Each one had to chose one of the colours given and create a total look with it.

No one picked red. White and black where the easiest colours. Cobalt blue, orange, and forest green were more tricky. This was all taken into consideration by the judges, who decided that the best at this task were...

Despite AudreyHepburn. chose one of the easiest colours, the judges loved his outfit. Lauri managed to delight us creating an outfit with multiple items and not making it plain at all. He got the highest score.

Ms.Brigitte surprised us with this bright orange, with an outfit that made her remember of Jil Sander (if I'm not wrong). We loved it, she was close to Lauri with only 0.3 points less.

I love the little details of both contestants, the white rubber band in AudreyHepburn.'s hair and the orange lipstick on Ms.Brigitte. Good job!

I would like to mention that whereisalice was close to them too. The 3 of them stand out and make them pass to the semifinal that I'll share with you soon.

Street Style

I've wanted to post this look for a while now but didn't find the time. Finally here it is! The truth is I don't have much to tell you about it, I just came up with it combining different clothes with the scarf which I looooove. I like really much too how that shoulder bag looks a little bit covered, I've always found it too big, so it's great to be able to hide some of it under the scarf. That's what I love about layering, it gives you the opportunity to make your clothes look completely different from what they really look like. Hope you like it!

Street Style

Truth is that from the last LE collection there was nothing I loved. I mean, there were nice things, but nothing I couldn't live without. However, I like having something from each collection, so I end up buying two items. This jacket is one of them.

It was not the same when the new clothes of Fallen Angel came out. They were lots of items I had seen before, including Balmain and Roberto Cavalli, but neither of them were of my taste. However, this inspired by Dior shoes were! At first I thought, how can Raf Simmons do that hybrid of sneakers and heels plus his characteristic heel? Then I started seeing them on the street and they looked SO COOL! I love them and I've been looking forward to Stardoll to release them. And finally... they did!

About the outfit, I still don't know what happened. It came out alone, so I hope you like it. It's pretty simple, all in black with purple details and a mix of business-rock-sport.

Spotted: amaia_estebanez

Look at this! I know this girl has a great style but when I visited her I didn't expect that coming! I love that outfit and the contrast it has, because yes, I LOVE CONTRASTS. amaia_estebanez has combined the elegant and vintage look with those distressed, grunge jeans. It looks perfect and amazing. Also, I love the idea of the accessories in orange, they pop up so delightfully! Even the white pointy heels have this hint of orange on the sole.

Street Style

I have always loved the Gucci collection, so when I found this coat on the bazaar I knew I had to buy it. I decided to make it the central piece of the outfit, and sice I like it more as a dress and not over pants, I chose to use it with thigh high boots. If not it looked like it was too short. Actually, it is short, but I love it short, it lost elegance using other clothes underneath.

I made the boots with the socks from Chanel (I don't know why Stardoll released them as socks instead of boots) and some ankle boots underneath from Elle. I think they look pretty good, huh? :)
