Store Statement: Fallen Angel

Christmas holidays have already ended (well here in Spain we have a few more days actually, but If I'm not wrong in most of the other countries work and classes have started again today) and you can feel it too in Stardoll. Today (as Mireia well said in the previous post) ends the Christmas Gift-O-Meter, they have stopped realising tributes as well and instead a new collection of a stardoll brand came out. So we have new clothes from Fallen Angel and this is how it looks.

So, as always the items are very dark and gothic/punk-like following the aesthetic of the brand. Even if you're not of that style though you can take advantage of some of the items and style them in your own way. My personal favourites are:

And now time for some inspiration. This time I did the outfits myself cause I was eager to see how the See Through Lace Jacket looked in a total black outfit (the idea popped in my mind the moment I saw the jacket).

Shopping: Christmas Gift-O-Meter (2/10)

If you spend 25 SD in anything on Starplaza, you get this pair of ripped jeans that in my opinion are pretty nice. They fit perfectly, they are super skinny which allows to pair them with boots or almost anything and the graphics are well done. Also, is a pretty basic piece of clothing. So yeah, my recommendation will be to get them if you can. 

Just as the tee from the previous gift (click here to see the post) is very easy to style. You could do almost anything with them, so my 3 outfits will be just 3 examples. Probably you have already seen them on this blog (here) and I'm sure you will see them again in a Sister's Style post.

Task 1 had a soundtrack by Lana Del Rey and the contestants had to play following Lana's song: outfit with, obviously, BLUE JEANS, WHITE SHIRT. 

The task was simple, as always in the beginning of the cycle, but some of the contestants already surprised us with amazing outfits and a lot of creativity.

On the creative side for this task we had outfits like the ones delivered by Sweet_gal11 and MissAngelFace..

 

I personally loved both of them. Stefan left me amazed and delighted with his decision of using that white shirt for the task, because it is so different of what all the others did but still adequate and Nessa made my mouth fell open with all those layers. But we have to be fair in this competition and not have in mind just a personal opinion and sadly these two weren't as well the favourites of the other judges. 

The one that liked the most, and winner of the task, was my second best: platinumgals.

Teresa's outfit was definitely really close to perfection. Everything in her outfit matched and looked great, plus it was great and very trendy that she picked flared jeans. That's what got her on the first place of this task. 

Of course there were a lot of good outfits we liked, just mentioning here my personal favourites but there's a lot of talent in this cycle and I can't wait to see what they deliver for next task, in which they have to make an outfit with this turtleneck:

And then there's Claudya (Claudentia) who sadly got the lowest mark of all so won't be competing in task 2.

Spotted: Isabella8103

I can only say WOW. I've never ever seen that free dress from the Easter gift-o-meter styled in a good way, but Isabella8103 did it and I love it! She has combined every single color of the dress that she used as a skirt. Also, seeing that Tommy Hilfiger sweater in this outfit makes me regret not buying it (I was about to but finally I did not). So good!
