Spotted: Wearing Velvet Orchid

Hello again!

This time I'm here to share with you the entries we had for the Velvet Orchid comp that I organized like a lifetime ago and never published the winner. As I was going to pick the winner with Judith and she's not here, I decided that you will help me to choose the winner. I do have an opinion on who is the winner for me, but I'll say it once the results that you vote for are up. Anyway, enough chit chat. Here are the outfits the contestants delivered:

Spotted: New LE

Hello everyone! A new LE collection came out on Friday and the fastest and most stylish stardoll members who managed to get their hands on some of the limited items are already wearing it. I thought about doing a Store Statement post but since you are seeing one of those quite regularly lately due to our never ending review of the Christmas Tributes I took advantage of the situation and switched to another section I love: the spotted section!

In the end there's not much to say about LE, it's pretty much the same as always, good designer items, really expensive and probably already sold out when you visit the store. However seeing the amazing outfits some people do with those items never gets old. So here we have Lawliet. with the Balmain inspired opulent sweater, FaintingSpells with the Burberry inspired red oversized coat and leiona_- with the Zuhair Murad inspired long fringe top.

Spotted: Marta-43

Lately we are not having that much time with the cycle and us being coaches to post that many stuff on the blog (believe me, there are review posts that will come at some point), but yesterday I was visiting Marta, and I'm glad I did! Look at that outfit! I fell in love with every single bit of it. The pants look great with the suspenders and the shirt, but to top it all off that beige ruffle top looks amazing and gives some modernity and cuteness to an otherwise smart/business outfit. Every detail is perfect, even the hair and glasses complete this perfect outfit. And as an expert in backgrounds that Marta is, the suite decoration totally complements it as well. Wow Marta, thanks for this! ❤️

Spotted: the_chuba

the_chuba. You may have seen her on the weekly Seen on FM-Style posts, but here it is a gorgeous look out of the competition I caught Monika wearing when I came by her suite. And what is she wearing? Not only one, but two monthly HotBuys, and I love it so much. It's actually something similar to what I had in mind when it came the time to style the sweatshirt (the poll is coming tomorrow), but I wasn't able to do it. She did, and the final result is amazing. No wonder she is one of the finalists of Cycle 13. Totally deserved. Keep doing what you're doing Monika, we love your outfits!

Spotted: jjgangstevenjj

When I saw that sweatshirt inspired in Vetements, its red color, the huge sleeves... I instantly loved it and needed it in my closet. I wanted to buy it and make an outfit with it, but I didn't have the time. Today I was visiting suites in the good Stardoll World, and I came across jjgangstevenjj! What a delight to my eyes to see this sweatshirt styled so beautifully! I love it so much! The combined pants look perfect with the sweatshirt and the white details are to die for. Look at that huge white shirt? Perfect, perfect, perfect. And the top of the cupcake (I don't know it that saying exists, but I'm using it anyway), that loosen bag. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Even the sunglasses and the earring, is like I'm loving every single part of this outfit that has been so carefully put together. 

Spotted: GossipGirlSBC

Our two outfits styling this new HotBuys earrings is going to be posted tomorrow, but meanwhile here's another example. I can already tell you in advance that GossipGirlSBC did a much better job than us. I'm obsessed about this look, everything (even the tiniest detail) it's perfect. I'm talking about the two belts, the fishnet tights under the pants, the layered top with those extra large sleeves... And that "YOU" made with Stardesigning finishes it off and knocks me out. And by the way, I'm amazed too at how well she styled these old clothes with worse graphics (jeans and sneakers) in such a cool way. 10! 10! 10!

I was writing the Seen on FM-Style post the other day (check it HERE) and when I visited Letícia, a.k.a leiona_- , to add a link to her username I saw THIS. I love every little detail of this outfit. I have always thought that skirt it's difficult to style because of its wide shape, but here looks perfect. I always thought that Hot Buys bag was difficult to style because of its strange colour, but, again, here looks perfect. Add that snake body and the golden jewellery and I'm speechless. Plus those nice transparent heels look so much better with that skin tone than my doll's... Wondering if I should give my doll a bit of a tan 🤔 .

I was looking for models for the next Surrounded by Trends (coming very soon!!) and Oh la la! I found Felipe (yulissahermosa) wearing this STUNNING outfit. Every detail is pure perfection! The big shoulders with the tiny waist, the white shirt on top of jumper, the belt that goes from her left shoulder to the waist... And I know you're wondering (cause I was wondering that too when I saw this) so I'm going to tell you where these items come from. The shoulder pads of the blazer are made with black belts, the belt that goes up to her shoulder it's the Dior Inspired Belt from Fallen Angel collocated upside down and the shoes are from Voile but that golden heel (another detail that looks amazing) is a Stardesign piece by Mery.-. I'm so in love with this outfit! And you will be seeing yulissahermosa and her fabolous heels again in the next Surrounded by Trends.

Spotted: Mh91

While I was looking for dolls wearing ripped blue jeans for the Style wars (check it out HERE) I came across Mh91. She was wearing blue jeans but not ripped. At first I thought "dammit! why those jeans don't have just a little slit so I can use this outfit? It's so good!". I even considered changing the theme to just blue jeans so I could use her outfit, but in the end I decided not be lazy, keep looking and save this for a spotted post. I mean, it had to be shared somehow.
That cape she's wearing reminds me a bit of the tunics they dress biblical characters with in movies, but she managed to make it look so cool and on point. I love the casualness it brings! Also the sleeves of the sweater, she made them longer and its a detail that it's just perfect for this look, and those big earrings and elegant bag give a classy vibe that screams Street Style. Looks amazing!

I found these two beauties yesterday and decided to post their looks together as both look straight out of the catwalk. Different catwalks but catwalks after all.
Hannahjohns1's look screams Gucci everywhere and I love it so much! From glasses to boots.
GreenMocococo's reminds me so much of the Yeezy Fashion Show season 2. It's not a style that I'm very fond of to be honest but in her outfit she made it look so cool.

Spotted: Meeermer

I found Meeermer through one of our partner blogs, mylestyle.blogspot.com, ran by the amazing Marta-43. She included in a super interesting post about sets (check it our HERE) a design by this doll that caught my attention, and when I went to visit her, what did I found? Not only was she talented at Stardesign but also at styling! I fell in love with her outfit. I love all the layers on the top part of the outfit and how it doesn't look like too much or bulky, I love the effect of the long patterned top with the ripped jeans, I love the gucci bag... I LOVE EVERYTHING! So obviously I had to share. An by the way, she has a stylish stardoll sister too! ;) (SISTER POWER <3)

Ok, so I love this girl. amaia_estebanez is one of the most stylish stardoll people I know, so it's not weird seen here a lot. Look at this outfit. It has layers, it has little details, and it's perfect! A super cool autumn/winter outfit, with coordinated colors, edgy details but also sporty and glamorous. I definitely love it! 

Spotted: millaxx

I love it when I'm going to feature an amazing outfit and I see it's from a doll that we've featured before! You can always search for your name in this blog, as everytime we feature someone we tag your name so you can find yourself after! This time, we feature another amazing outfit from millaxx. It's not a very complicated outfit, in fact it has very few items, but that jacket... gives life to the whole outfit! I've never seen it before but just looking at this is screaming something like "I know you want me". I love absolutely everything... Look at the placement of the bag!! It's perfect! Thanks for this amazing outfit.

Headbanger1995 not only has a beautiful doll but she is also perfectly dressed. I love how she took advantage of the shape of the shirt to make those pants look better and more flattering. And the burgundy details make it even better. A perfect example of one of those outfits that doesn't need a lot to look good. 

Spotted: Heneda

I wasn't looking for an amazing outfit, I was just searching dolls wearing pieces of the new store Trails for my Store Statement about it (click here to read)... But I came across the wonderful and talented Heneda and look at this. How could I not include this gorgeous outfit in here? Look at all this colours, purple, red and navy blue... I would have never thought they would look good together but this outfit is super elegant and it's like all the outfit compliments the hat, but at the same time the hat compliments the outfit. It's super cool and amazing. I love it.

Spotted: beee.

Judith was commenting some days ago about the new store called Active and how you could use some of the items not for exercise but as fashionable items thanks to the sporty trend (click here to see the post). Then, this is a perfect example of how to do so. Look how cool beee. looks with that sporty "adidas" jacket. Love this outfit so much, and it's even not that expensive (shoes, fanny pack and pants are sc items). Amazing!

Spotted: Miloshki

When the Balmain Tribute came out and I saw this long light pink coat my thoughts were: nice, but extremely hard to style. I don't know if it was hard to style the coat for Miloshiki or not, but even if it was hard for her she succeeded with this amazing outfit. I love the combination of the coat with those pants. They look as if they were made for going together! Love this outfit!
