Seen on FM-Style: Front Row

Hello again! Today the review for the third task of FM-Style's Cycle 14 arrives!
As I'm writing this, we are on a week break from the cycle. Contestants are having almost two weeks instead of one to deliver Task 6. And while they were working on their outfits... I was creating something else... a brand new blog for Inspiration Albums! I used a Tumblr, cause it's very useful for photography and I quite love the final result. I hope contestants like it too!

This is a little preview of how it looks like now (denim blue jeans, white shirts and little black dresses is the theme for Task 6 as you will see in some future posts):

That being said, let's jump to what is more important... the review.

If you want to follow the cycle closely you will need to join the club FM-Style on Stardoll. To show you a little of what's going on in case you don't know the fashion competitions we host there on the club, this time we have a special cycle (Cycle 14 omg, we're getting old). We got to 600 members, and to celebrate that we're hosting a team cycle, meaning contestants don't take part individually but in teams, forcing them to work together and deliver kind of coordinated entries.

Task 3: Front Row

Look for your best clothes and your more original statement pieces cause for this week you're all attending fashion week. You already know how the street style out of a fashion show is, if you want to stand out you have to be BOLD.

Luckily, you will be accompanied by your team mates. Coordination or not is your choice but you and your team are ATTENDING TOGETHER and with the goal of looking the best.

The Stylish Stardoll Sisters tried to show some examples to the contestants:

Unluckily for the cycle, the team Trinity disappeared from the scene and didn't present anything, being 8 teams left. They delivered the next, with their respective scores:

1. SHADES - 8.50

2. The Flaming Jalapeño Gang - 7.49

3. The Hex Girls - 7.81

4. Team KAL - 7.62

5. Sarcasm. - 8.19

6. A Team with No Name - 8.00

7. MAC Team - 5.17

8. Just Team 9 - 6.84

I have to say that I was expecting so much more from this task. I don't know if my expectations were to high, but there was not really a team that make me say WOW. And this time my 3 favorites were, in order:

- SHADES. I like how each member of the team is doing her own thing with their own colour, but at the same time they look very good together. That's what Judith meant when she said "coordination is optional but you have to look good together". They are my favorite team for this task.

- Then we have The Hex Girls. I really love the outfit they made, but that presentation is hurting my eyes so bad. Leaving that behind, their outfits are my second favorite. I just love fur and how they are all incorporating it in their own style and in different items.

- For the third position I have a very complicated decision and I've been debating it for a while, but since I can't decide I will mention everyone: Team KAL, The Flaming Jalapeño Gang & A Team with No Name. Each of these teams have bold outfits very fashion week material, and they are pretty much coordinated. Even I don't think they are perfect, I can't decide for one better than the other. So this is triple tie for that third position. And no, I'm not having preferences over my teams. At least I try not to.

Seen on FM-Style: This Is Us

Hello beloved readers!
After four weeks already into the cycle you might be thinking that reviews weren't going to be made, right? You were wrong!! I've wanted to start typing about Cycle 14, for weeks! I didn't have the time before, but I have it now.

This reviews will all be made by me (Mireia), unless Judith wants to take part in one some day. It will be a little different than before.

If you want to follow the cycle closely you will need to join the club FM-Style on stardoll. To show you a little of what's going on in case you don't know the fashion competitions we host there on the club, this time we have a special cycle (Cycle 14 omg, we're getting old). We get to 600 members, and to celebrate that we're hosting a team cycle, meaning contestants don't take part individually but in teams, forcing them to work together and deliver kind of coordinated entries.

Without further ado, let's jump right into Task 1.

Task 1: This Is Us

Welcome everyone to the Team Cycle!! First task is for warming up, for getting to know your teammates (if you don't know them yet) and start encouraging team work and making decisions together. This is your presentation task.

First of all, you need to pick a name for your team. No rules here, a name that sounds cool for the three of your and to which you feel identified or whatever.

Second, you need to create each one an outfit for this little presentation. This outfit can have relation with the name of the team or not at all, but what it is obligatory in this task is COORDINATION. The three outfits must be coordinated. Each one of you can do the outfit in your own style but make sure there's something that matches with your teammates (if it's not style it can be colours, shapes, similarity of items, etc.). Imagine it as a group ID.

For this new reviews, I would like to show you first how the Stylish Stardoll Sisters would have addressed the task (individually). As judges, we provide examples for the contestants, and these are our attempt to present ourselves.

With this task, each team presented themselves, and we got to 10 teams:

1. The Trinity - 8.60

2. SHADES - 9.14

3. The Flaming Jalapeño Gang - 7.89

4. The Hex Girls - 7.85

5. Team KAL - 7.04

6. Sarcasm. - 6.73

7. A Team with No Name - 7.38

However, we already lost some participants and some teams were re-organized for the next task, as you will see on the next post about Task 2.

My personal favorites of this task, being totally impartial and not having preferences over the teams that I coach, were: SHADES (B.E.A.T.K.A + Lawliet. + FedericoMosi), The Trinity (Isabella8103 + blinnes + minaj131) & The Hex Girls (oayes + kickherout + cami-camilla). Let's not forget the amazing work all by o397 on her own team B-Sides.

Splendorous: Freckles & Beauty Marks

Hello my splendid readers! As we have mentioned a lot of times, our blog is mainly fashion related, but we are also beauty lovers, so here I am with a Beauty related post. Will try to have one of those at least once a month.

This time, I'm here to talk about beauty marks. I've been wanting to share this with your for a long time, since I changed my doll's hair and added this little beauty marks. At first it started as a joke, because I placed them in the same spots as my sister Judith has in real life. But I loved it, so I kept them. This is how my doll looks, and I'm sharing it here, cause I don't know if you can appreciate those little details when I post outfits.

Then, I decided to search for celebrities, influencers, models... all with some beauty marks or freckles, to share with you how beautiful they look and how they can add a little personality to your persona.

And finally, if you didn't have enough inspiration, let me share with you as well how a lot of stardollians have included freckles or beauty marks or both into their dolls and how gorgeous they look!

Seen on FM-Style: The Secret Is Revealed

- Please, read this post in order, without jumping to the end, for not breaking the magic -

You know the judges, you know the contestants, you have seen the tasks, you have seen the results of the polls... keep reading to find out WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW.

On Sunday 5th of July Task 1 came out, a simple task to begin with for us judges to get an idea what the contestants were capable of. They only had to create an outfit, as amazing as possible (obviously), in navy blue monochrome. Approximately one week after, when a little review of the task was posted here in The Stylish Stardoll Sisters the anonymous voters decided that the best task had been delivered by RawrGoregous, however the opinion of the judges was different.

So, yes, Marta-43 was the OFFICIAL best task 1 with a beautiful navy blue outfit. Was she the best too in task 2, when it was all about scarfs? Or were the voters right this time being missiwantitall the one who impressed the judges the most?

Well, it had to happen that at least once the opinion of voters and judges coincide, right? From here the tasks started to be every time more difficult and the contestants were asked next to style an outfit that fitted a specific hair from the beauty parlor which the judges said, at the time of creating their examples, that it was so ugly. According to the poll the contestant who succeeded completely in this task was again RawrGoregous. Were the voters right again?

Partially, because RawrGoregous got the best mark but tied up with Marta-43! Task 4 arrived and we had to say goodbye to Milagros1000 who withdrew herself from the competition and the rest of the contestants had to confront an unknown for them style typical from our birth place: The Mediterranean. The voters decided that CoralCool91 was the winner of this task, let's find out the opinion of the judges.

And the final task arrived. The contestants were given different combinations of colours and they had to create three different outfits: one in which they had to pull out that combination (which counted itself as another task) and two others focusing in the two colours of the combination individually. I'll allow to you to see with your own eyes the results of the poll (which haven't been posted yet) before announcing the official results.

So, as you see the voters think that the best final task was cami-camilla's. I'm sorry to announce that the judges did not agree.

All we had kept as a SECRET has been revealed. Now there's only one thing left to know. All the marks of each task have been added to make a final score out of 60 (10 points for each task plus the 10 points for the outfit with the combination of colours in the final task) which gives us the winner of Cycle 10: The Secret cycle.

And that winner is...

Marta-43!!!

Seen on FM-Style: Match that!

Today the judging from the final task ever on Cycle 10 is being done by the amazing judges of this cycle, and while we debate and punctuate, here we are on the Stylish Stardoll Sisters, sharing with you the entries for the final task. In two days the winner will be announced on here and the post shared on the club.

That being said, and before I share with you the great work the contestants did with the difficult and challenging task, here they are the results from the poll of Task 4: Mediterraneamente.

CoralCool91 is by a little difference the favorite from Task 4! Congratulations!!

So, in case you don't follow the cycle on the club (you can access to it clicking on the image at the end of the post), for the final task the contestants had to deliver 3 outfits. We gave 7 possible combinations of two colors for the 7 contestants to choose. Not normal combinations but difficult ones, not common. With that combos, they needed to deliver 3 outfits: one in which the main color was one of the colors of the combination, one in which the main color was the other one, and the most difficult one and that counts as much as it was another task, an outfit putting together both colors. Seen on FM-Style: Mediterraneamente

Ok, we can finally say that we're on the final! The last task of the Secret Cycle has already been posted on the presentation of the club (click here to see it) and we are on week closer to know the results, the winners, the opinions... All we've been keeping up as a secret coming out eventually!

But enough talking about what it's going to happen in the future. Let's take a look at the past first and see who was the winner of task 3 according to the voters of the poll.

RawrGoregous is again the favourite for task 3! Congratulations! ;)

And now let's focus in the present, which means, let's focus in all the tasks 4s our contestants delivered. The task had it's difficulty which was understanding perfectly the style we were talking about (the mediterranean style) and represent it. I'm really impressed with some of the contestants work as they did it wonderfully despite not being from the Mediterranean. This time we gave them a little bit more of inspiration in order to make sure they got the style. These are the links we posted in the club page:

Seen on FM-Style: Style The Hair

I'm sure you already know by now what kind of post to expect on Sunday. That's right, an FM-Style report of the already ended task.

And of course, you are expecting as well the results of last week poll. Well, I'm not going to make you wait for them (you already have to wait for the official results), here they are:

So as you see, the 87 anonymous voters decided that the best task was the outfit by missiwantitall. Congratulations!

Moving on to task, which, by the way, has been the most difficult one for now on cycle 10. Even the judges find it difficult at the time of delivering their examples. But, difficult does not mean lousy outfits, not when we are in FM-Style. Our contestants had to make an outfit adequate for this hair:
