TIPS:

1. Jewellery can compliment any outfit! 

2. Be careful in mixing with silver! 

3. Don't wear it with a lot of other bracelets, it looks more elegant on its own. 

JUDITH:

I think it's a nice bracelet, it can look good and bring a nice touch to almost every outfit. I don't think it's worth 14SD though, it is a little bit too much for a simple bracelet for me, who I hardly ever wear bracelets. The problem it's not its simplicity but that I don't love it that much that I feel that I need it. So, I won't be buying this one.

About my outfit I must admit it was really hard to make an outfit out of a bracelet, which you can combine with anything. In the end I tried to go for a minimalistic but still luxurious outfit that gave a little bit of importance to the jewelry, which was in this case what had to catch the attention.

MIREIA: 

I won't buy either, it's too simple, I don't feel like I needed either. However, if you have the money, I think it brings a very glam touch to any outfit. 

I decided to create an outfit around it, playing with white and gold. However, I wanted some modern sporty touch to create some contrast (you have to know I love contrasts hehe), and that's what I went for adding the denim vest and sneakers.

We're on the final!!!! OMG, I can't believe it... Jason just texted me! Haha Just kidding, I loved this song back on the day and I had to write that, with the "OMG I can't believe it". But really, we're on the final.  Let's take a look first on last week's task and on who you think was the winner...

Again, you seem to agree with the judges as the winner of last task was in fact Marta-43. But, will be Marta be the winner of the final, and as a matter of fact, the winner of Cycle 12? We'll see! 

For the final task, the contestants had to create 5 outfits that went with 5 Instagram Captions that Judith created. For showing you what they did, I decided to play a little with Instagram and show you my favorites for each caption, but in a very specific way ;) Just a hint, the number of likes is how much I liked the entry. 

They all delivered great entries, but my favorite of them all was the 4th outfit of kickherout and the 5th of Marta-43. But who has been the winner of Cycle 12 according to all judges?

Information for new competitions on FM-Style will be released on the club. We will all get some vacation from cycles though, but we will come back again! Maybe for Christmas? Keep updated on...

Sharing HotBuys Advice: OCTOBER 2016 #1

Welcome to the first HotBuys of October, and to the first proper post of Sharing HotBuys Advice!
It's Mireia writing, and without further ado, let's get to where we should be... STYLING! This are our attempts of combining this sunglasses.

MIREIA

Just when I zoomed it to take a screenshot for the post I fell in love with those sunglasses. I think they are quite too expensive though, 17 SD for some sunglasses? I don't know if I will end up buying, but from now, they have a little space on my wishlist.

For the outfit I decided to go for white and gold, like the tones on the sunglasses, and finally adding some colour with the bag.

JUDITH

To be honest for me these sunglasses have been a bit of a disappointment. I guess my expectations were a little bit too high. The thing is that I hadn't seen yet the image of the 10 Hot Buys of the month so when I heard Mireia talking about the first release, Gucci inspired sunglasses, I imagined something really original and with a strong vintage touch, like these original Gucci sunnies.

Instead, Stardoll released a more modest model, therefore the disappointment. So yes, I obviously think that 17 SD is way too much for those sunglasses.

For my outfit I kept the Gucci vibe and went for florar bag, shirt with bow, sparkly silver platforms... But still keeping it a little bit more street style that what you see in the runway.

TIPS:

1. You can add them to any outfit! So versatile!

2. No more nightmares choosing between gold or silver!

3. Keep it elegant or vintage!
