Shopping: Callie's Picks Flared Summer Jeans

Some days ago came out a new collection of Callie's Picks inspired in a St.Valentine's Day theme and to be hones it brought quite a few nice items. Between them the flared jeans that we are about to study in this Shopping post.

I have to say that if I liked this denim flares when I bought them, making this post I am loving them even more. They are so versatile and combinable with all kinds of items and as they are so trendy right now they make any outfit look cool. The options of different outfits you can make are endless I literally had to eliminate some of them so the post wouldn't be too long.

These are the two first outfits I made. The first one is quite simple following a kind of business 70's look. The second one is more casual, using a sweater and a beanie and instead of stilettos a more comfy looking booties (although is not the shoes aren't completely visible with these jeans).

For the third outfit I wanted to use the jeans with a crop top. I made as well another outfit with a crop top and the flares that was more "hippy" but I chose to show you this one because I liked it more. It brings together two trends of this season the skinny scarf and the flares, plus it has this minimalist touch that it's also trendy.
And finally for the fourth outfit I wanted to go outside of my comfort zone and tried combining it with an oversize shirt. I had seen some photos on the internet of flares combined with silky long shirts and I liked the result but sadly I didn't own none of those on stardoll so I went for this dress from Nelly as it was quite open on the sides so I knew it wouldn't end up looking too big. To end it I went for a denim on denim and combined it with that ripped jacket, nude accessories and ready to go with a quite original outfit!

As I have said before there are multiple options on how to combine these jeans (fur, lace, platforms, business, hippy, minimalist...) so I definitely recommend you to buy them if you like them, I'm really happy with my purchase. :)

Seen on FM-Style: Classic Man

For Task 6 the objective was creating an outfit that a male could wear. That means no high heels and looks with a hint of commodity. Our contestants did a great job, but I have my personal favorites.

In this task I was expecting more sporty outfits, and that's why this outfit on the left from Janette (janetteLow) surprised me. She went for a classic look but with a really modern touch. On the other side, we have Rawan (bornthiswaay), who did it again and won the task. The outfit she delivered is in fact super manly, original and super appropriate for a men's fashion week.

Sadly, there's always someone who has to be eliminated, and this time the one was Stefan (sweet_gal11). It's really hard when there's a point on the cycle where you know you're eliminating contestants that could be winning the cycle. What comforts me though, is thinking that maybe we have them again in further cycles!

Sisters's Style: It Girls Chloé Insp Boots

Even though now we can not access each other wardrobes when we do SuiteChat, we still have some clothes repeated. Basically everything that is free and some starcoin items, like the MS.TQ choker. As we both have been superstar this past month, we got the same superstar gifts. Most of them are really shitty not from our taste, but there are some of them that we kind of like with a proper styling. For me is the case of this ankle boots. I would have never bought them, but if they give them to me... They are inspired by Chloé, it's not that bad. Here's the real version and the stardoll one. Even if they are not from a tribute they are pretty accurate.

And now it's time for our outfits wearing them:

This time even if our outfits are different, they are quite well combined. We both went for a black and beige combo, and both opted for leggings instead of pants or jeans. Maybe it's because they give this sporty vibe to the outfit so they would look weird with a skirt or suit paints. Despite those aspects, Judith went for a more elegant outfit while my outfit is basically sporty. To achieve those differences using almost the same kind of clothes, the key are the details.

Judith combined the leggings + boots with a shirt, cozy sweater and a nice jacket. And to finish all that she added a very lady bag. Doing this she accomplished a very casual but still fashionable outfit. It has to be very comfortable definitely. Mireia instead (yes, that's me), continued the sporty look with still more sporty items: a sweatshirt with a basic long tee underneath, a shopping bag and a cap. The only thing she added to break the monotony and transform the outfit into a street style outfit instead of an outfit to go to the gym was this studded leather jacket over the shoulders.

Hope you like both looks, but if you want to comment anything, don't be shy! We will read you in the comment section! ;)
