Store Statement: Pearls

What is happening in the Stardoll World? So many time with no new stores and now they are adding all this little new themed ones. First it was sportswear (click here for the store statement), then it was clothes for travellers (click here for the store statement) and now this store for preppy rich people.

I'm personally not a fan of this new store, I don't like the clothes too much. There are some things I could buy, but I don't feel the need of getting them. These are my favorite pieces:

For me, as a first impression, this store is for a back to school look. I put together some very classic items for using as a uniform. Doesn't it remind you of someone? I'm talking about Blair Waldorf. This store is like all outfits that Blair from Gossip Girl could have worn and then the outfit for men that there is on the store would be the one for Chuck Bass.

Is this the longest Store Statement ever? I don't know, but I'm not finished yet. I've been surfing around Stardoll thinking that I wouldn't find anyone wearing any pieces as I'm super early for this Store Statement (this post is scheduled), but... surprise!

Store Statement: The Jet Set

Today they have released a new floor of The Jet Set. I usually like a lot the collections from The Jet Set so I was a little bit disappointed with this one, because I didn't like it that much, but it still has some cool and trendy items. Check it for yourselves.

There is a Fendi inspired t-shirt, an original two-coloured fur, fringed dresses and a striped coat with a belt which has a really nice shape. Basically I can include all my favourite items in two looks.

Store Statement: Saint Laurent Paris Tribute

Saint Laurent Paris Tribute came out yesterday and I must admit I'm in love with this collection. I usually like Saint Laurent clothes because they look young and fresh although maybe a little too rock for me, but I definitely didn't expect I would like it this much.

This is how the two floors looked like:

I actually had to struggle a little bit at the time of choosing my favourite items cause I liked so many of them. In my opinion the quality of this collection, meaning the textures and shapes of the items, is really good, everything looks very real and similar to real designer clothes. In the end I went for this 5 pieces.

With such a great collection I knew I would find amazing outfits out there and I wasn't wrong. It only took me like 5 minutes to find these beauties.

Seen on FM-Style: The Secret Is Revealed

- Please, read this post in order, without jumping to the end, for not breaking the magic -

You know the judges, you know the contestants, you have seen the tasks, you have seen the results of the polls... keep reading to find out WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW.

On Sunday 5th of July Task 1 came out, a simple task to begin with for us judges to get an idea what the contestants were capable of. They only had to create an outfit, as amazing as possible (obviously), in navy blue monochrome. Approximately one week after, when a little review of the task was posted here in The Stylish Stardoll Sisters the anonymous voters decided that the best task had been delivered by RawrGoregous, however the opinion of the judges was different.

So, yes, Marta-43 was the OFFICIAL best task 1 with a beautiful navy blue outfit. Was she the best too in task 2, when it was all about scarfs? Or were the voters right this time being missiwantitall the one who impressed the judges the most?

Well, it had to happen that at least once the opinion of voters and judges coincide, right? From here the tasks started to be every time more difficult and the contestants were asked next to style an outfit that fitted a specific hair from the beauty parlor which the judges said, at the time of creating their examples, that it was so ugly. According to the poll the contestant who succeeded completely in this task was again RawrGoregous. Were the voters right again?

Partially, because RawrGoregous got the best mark but tied up with Marta-43! Task 4 arrived and we had to say goodbye to Milagros1000 who withdrew herself from the competition and the rest of the contestants had to confront an unknown for them style typical from our birth place: The Mediterranean. The voters decided that CoralCool91 was the winner of this task, let's find out the opinion of the judges.

And the final task arrived. The contestants were given different combinations of colours and they had to create three different outfits: one in which they had to pull out that combination (which counted itself as another task) and two others focusing in the two colours of the combination individually. I'll allow to you to see with your own eyes the results of the poll (which haven't been posted yet) before announcing the official results.

So, as you see the voters think that the best final task was cami-camilla's. I'm sorry to announce that the judges did not agree.

All we had kept as a SECRET has been revealed. Now there's only one thing left to know. All the marks of each task have been added to make a final score out of 60 (10 points for each task plus the 10 points for the outfit with the combination of colours in the final task) which gives us the winner of Cycle 10: The Secret cycle.

And that winner is...

Marta-43!!!

Seen on FM-Style: Match that!

Today the judging from the final task ever on Cycle 10 is being done by the amazing judges of this cycle, and while we debate and punctuate, here we are on the Stylish Stardoll Sisters, sharing with you the entries for the final task. In two days the winner will be announced on here and the post shared on the club.

That being said, and before I share with you the great work the contestants did with the difficult and challenging task, here they are the results from the poll of Task 4: Mediterraneamente.

CoralCool91 is by a little difference the favorite from Task 4! Congratulations!!

So, in case you don't follow the cycle on the club (you can access to it clicking on the image at the end of the post), for the final task the contestants had to deliver 3 outfits. We gave 7 possible combinations of two colors for the 7 contestants to choose. Not normal combinations but difficult ones, not common. With that combos, they needed to deliver 3 outfits: one in which the main color was one of the colors of the combination, one in which the main color was the other one, and the most difficult one and that counts as much as it was another task, an outfit putting together both colors. Seen on FM-Style: Mediterraneamente

Ok, we can finally say that we're on the final! The last task of the Secret Cycle has already been posted on the presentation of the club (click here to see it) and we are on week closer to know the results, the winners, the opinions... All we've been keeping up as a secret coming out eventually!

But enough talking about what it's going to happen in the future. Let's take a look at the past first and see who was the winner of task 3 according to the voters of the poll.

RawrGoregous is again the favourite for task 3! Congratulations! ;)

And now let's focus in the present, which means, let's focus in all the tasks 4s our contestants delivered. The task had it's difficulty which was understanding perfectly the style we were talking about (the mediterranean style) and represent it. I'm really impressed with some of the contestants work as they did it wonderfully despite not being from the Mediterranean. This time we gave them a little bit more of inspiration in order to make sure they got the style. These are the links we posted in the club page:

Seen on FM-Style: Style The Hair

I'm sure you already know by now what kind of post to expect on Sunday. That's right, an FM-Style report of the already ended task.

And of course, you are expecting as well the results of last week poll. Well, I'm not going to make you wait for them (you already have to wait for the official results), here they are:

So as you see, the 87 anonymous voters decided that the best task was the outfit by missiwantitall. Congratulations!

Moving on to task, which, by the way, has been the most difficult one for now on cycle 10. Even the judges find it difficult at the time of delivering their examples. But, difficult does not mean lousy outfits, not when we are in FM-Style. Our contestants had to make an outfit adequate for this hair:

Seen on FM-Style: Around the neck

It's Sunday! You know why I love Sundays? No, it's not because there is no mail... (hehehe bad joke --> reference to Harry Potter). I love Sundays because it's time for FM-Style news! Task 2 has ended and we want to look at the work the contestants have done.

But first, let me share with you the results of the previous task. As the judges can't say a word about the tasks (you know this is the SECRET cycle, right?) we put a poll on the blog so everyone could vote anonymously for their favourite task. Well, according to the popular decision, the winner of task 1 would've been RawrGoregous. Congratulations! Her outfit was the one with more votes. See it yourselves!

And now, task 2. This time the contestants had to create an outfit using a scarf. Some considered this too easy but Mireia and I thought that this was the perfect task to show your talent. A lot of original outfits can come out of an outfit with a scarf. You could even wear the scarf in untraditional ways like in your head, tied in your bag or in your wrist... There were no restrictions but including this beautiful accessory. And here's what our amazing stylists delivered:

Seen on FM-Style: In The Navy

The week has ended and with it the time for finishing Task 1 of Cycle 10 at FM-Style. As this is the Secret Cycle the contestants awaited all week without knowing how their competitors were doing and today the link with all of her tasks was finally posted.

The task consisted in creating a monochromatic outfit using navy blue, we gave them some inspiration (http://imgur.com/a/Ycp2Q#0) and here’s what they delivered:

We have very different outfits, from business like to elegant ones, mixing patterns and textures. The judges already marked all these outfits but the results will not be given until the end of the cycle, when the winner is announced, and we will avoid as well comenting anything that might suggest what our favourite outfits are.

So yes, we can’t say ANYTHING about what we think of the work above, but YOU can. I thought it would be nice to give you the opportunity to comment and vote anonimously for the one you like the most in the poll bellow.

The cycle keeps going and task 2 has already been announced: outfit wearing a scarf. It may seem simple but we’re expecting a lot of originality from this. So you know what to do, check out the blog again this time next week for seeing amazing outfits with scarfs.
