As Task 1 had a soundtrack, we wanted to keep that for the next tasks and that's why we chose Sweater Weather for Task 2, a song by one of our favorite groups: The Neighbourhood. However, this time, what the contestants had to do is styling a specific sweater that we showed to you on the recap of the first task (click here to see it).
This task was very free, and everyone could do anything with the sweater as long as it was appropriate to wear on the street. My personal favorites were this outfits submitted by bornthiswaay and vousme.
Both were well received by the other judges also, and if it wasn't for the extra point we give to the winner of the previous task, Rawan would have been the winner of the task. Both of this looks that got my highest marks are very casual and trendy right now.
Is it coincidence that both of them are the sponsors of the cycle and both are experienced contestants on FM-Style? It is! I love the Parisian vibes of the outfit from Maurice and the pants + skirt combo in which Janette surprised us.
I have to say that in this task all the outfits were pretty nice, and although the task did not allow too much originality because they were forced to use an specific items, we saw mostly really different outfits. In general the grades were higher, so either the judges got softer or they made it better! ;)
Can't wait to see the outfits they submit for the next task, in which they have to dress like a swede based on my experience on Sweden.
Sadly, there has to be someone to go out, and this time Andre (Andre1396) got the lowest score. It's such a pity that such a stylish contestant has to go that early, but rules are rules.
