Splendorous: Top 5 Hair Accessories

We're always looking for new original ways to dress our dolls and in this difficult task everything counts from the shoes or the bag to the make-up making sure to pick a nice hairstyle. While in the clothing section the variety is enormous the beauty department, although great, it's not that wide. The thing is that usually we find ourselves taking a lot of care and paying a lot of attention to every detail of the outfit but left all the little things from the beauty parlor forgotten. I have to be honest and say that hardly ever I wear accessories from the beauty parlor but the truth is that some of them are beautiful!

5. Pearls Headband

Due to its gold colour this headband looks better with dark hairs, with fair hair it's harder to notice it. I particularly like it how it looks with short hair but it adapts to very different hairstyles. It's very girly and elegant at the same time the accessory you need to end up a simple but cute outfit.

4. Diamond Leaves Hairband

I love the elegance of this jeweled hairband it reminds me of a fairy or something like that. It looks amazing with long slightly curled hairs. A must, it has to be a middle parted hairstyle because of the long jewell piece of the middle, otherwise it would look odd. I specially like it if it's combined with a touch of boho (wether in the clothes or the hairstyle) cause it brings elegance to the look without being too smart. 

3. Gold Crystal Hairband

Another gold hairband. The same as with number five better with dark hairs cause it stands out more. This one it's really elegant too, reminds me a bit of Dolce & Gabanna. I went for this semi updo cause I though it looked great with the curls but it looks good too with any kind of updo as long as it adapts properly to the hair. 

2. Feather Boho Headband

Ok this headpiece it's very hippy, very 70s, very boho or whatever you would like to call it. I LOOOVE how it looks with this hairstyle, the rope just above the braid but any other casual hairstyle would do. I do think you can only wear it with long hair though as the feathers are quite big and look like a bit too much if you're wearing short hair.

And finally, my favourite, the Rhinestone Tiara. I love everything about it. It can look great with boho outfits, with elegant looks, with summery clothes... The only requisite is a middle parted hair.
