Seen on FM-Style: Style Icon

[Excuse me from the overdose of FM-Style, but I told you that I wanted to go at the same time as the club.]

Cycle 8 has begun! Is an especial cycle, hold for arriving to 400 members on the club. It's based on a Spanish TV-Show where the contestants have to imitate famous singers. That adapted to fashion is what I called: Your Style Sounds Familiar #1.

Let me introduce you the contestants, sponsors and judges:

For the first task, I asked the contestants to chose their style icon and create an outfit he/she would wear. According to the judges and contestants contributions, the winner of this task was...

She chose Clemence Poesy as her style icon, and she recreated her french look so perfectly, making her the first on the score board. To top that, her explanation of why she chosed her was very nice, reason for what I'm including it here:

"After careful consideration I chose to create a look inspired by Clemence Poesy. For me her style is exactly what I always imagine the French chic to be like. Even though the final result looks stunningly simple it was a challenge to put it together. Clemence's outfits always look so effortless and easy to emulate in spite the fact that they consist of either very high-end pieces or one of kind vintage items. She seems to prefer black, white and neutrals and rarely adds colours (which makes it ever more special when she does). Her go-to piece is a simple white shirt but she always finds a way to keep it interesting. What impresses is most about her style is exactly the way she manages to make the most basic of colours and pieces into a stunning look by using tops and coats with unique and eye-catching shapes: oversized items, capes, boxy cuts, huge scarves or even boyfriend clothes. Her lovely figure adds the necessary femininity and grace to her looks while the intriguing shapes make her style instantly recognizable; on top of all that the comfortable shoes she prefers and the basic colours make it look like she's not even trying to be fashionable. She just is."

NEXT TASK: Cara Delevingne
You'll see who gets the best score at attempting to dress as one of the current most famous models.
